Kamahiloa "The Long Farm"

To accommodate a narrow sloping site in Hawaii with active coffee and macadamia nut trees, “The Long Farm” House was broken up into a principal living structure with detached two-bedroom sleeping pods. The pods cascade down the slope, providing privacy and dramatic views to the west. Building forms are specifically placed to follow the existing contours, minimizing impact on the site, while creating a harmonious home that integrates with the island’s beauty and nature.
